Capcom Finally Confirms Akuma Street Fighter 6 Release Date

After a long wait, Capcom has finally confirmed that Akuma will be coming to Street Fighter 6 on May 22nd. Akuma is the final season 1 DLC character following Rashid, A.K.I, and Ed.

Fan favourite Akuma made his debut way back in Super Street Fighter II Turbo as a hidden boss and playable character. Players can use Akuma in all three Street Fighter 6 game modes, including World Tour, Battle Hub, and Fighting Ground.

If you own the Deluxe/Ultimate Edition or the Year 1 Character Pass and Ultimate Pass, you will be able play as Akuma immediately when he releases. Year 1 Ultimate Pass owners also receive the new stage, Enma’s Hollow. Check out the awesome Akuma Street Fighter 6 gameplay trailer below.
