Why You Should Play Hitman World of Assassination

If you’re a fan of stealth games, then Hitman World of Assassination is an absolute must-play. Personally, it’s one of my all-time favourite stealth games, and I find myself coming back to it again and again—even in 2025. It’s the kind of game that offers endless fun, challenges, and creativity, making it a standout in the genre. Whether you’re new to stealth games or a long-time fan, this trilogy (comprising HITMAN, HITMAN 2, and HITMAN 3) is a game you won’t want to miss.

A World of Possibilities

One of the most compelling reasons to play Hitman World of Assassination is its dynamic gameplay. The trilogy allows you to eliminate targets in a variety of ways, giving the game an impressive replay value. From sneaking past guards to taking down your target with an elaborate plan, the creativity is endless. You can disguise yourself as anything from a chef to a clown, each disguise offering new opportunities and hilarious moments. The game doesn’t follow a strict narrative path—there’s no one set way to accomplish your mission. It’s all about finding the best approach and experimenting with different methods to see what works.

Each level feels like a puzzle to solve, with new challenges around every corner. Once you’ve completed a mission, you can unlock new weapons and tools that make replays even more enjoyable. You’ll also be able to choose your spawn points, so you don’t have to always start in the same location. The locations are awesome, offering countless hours of exploration and fun.

Hitman World of Assassination also offers different difficulty levels, catering to players of all skill levels. The choices are:

• Casual – For a laid-back experience, perfect for those just starting out.
• Professional – A balanced challenge for players who have mastered the basics.

The game’s difficulty curve can be steep at first, especially if you’re new to stealth gameplay. However, once you get the hang of it, the satisfaction of pulling off the perfect mission is incredible. Personally, I enjoy playing on Master Difficulty, aiming for a 5-star rating in each level while only wearing Agent 47’s iconic suit—no disguises, no mistakes. It’s challenging, rewarding, and a lot of fun.

• Contracts Mode: In this mode, you can create your own contracts. Pick your location, choose your targets, and decide how you want to eliminate them. Then, play it out in real time, testing your approach and execution.
• Sniper Assassin: As the name suggests, this mode lets you take out targets with precision sniping. The challenge is not only to be accurate but also to plan your shots strategically.

 

And let’s not forget about the side missions within the story mode itself, adding even more layers of content for players to explore.
