Sega Announces Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe And Shinobi Reboots

Sega has confirmed that they are rebooting some games from their classic franchises, including Jet Set Radio, Crazy Taxi, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, and Shinobi. During the trailer, it was revealed that more games are also in development.

It’s been a while since some of these games had a sequel; the last one was Streets of Rage 4 in 2020, which was released on PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, iOS, and Android.

No release dates were announced; however, Geoff Keighley confirmed they will release ‘over the next several years’ during the 2023 Game Awards. Sega revealed the trailer, which showed a short snippet of gameplay for each title. Watch the trailer below.
