Monster Hunter Wilds New Trailer Shown At State of Play

Published on 31 May 2024

During PlayStation’s State of Play event, Capcom released a brand new trailer for the anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds. The cinematic trailer showed some combat gameplay as well as some new monsters.

Capcom first announced Monster Hunter Wilds during The Game Awards 2023, where they confirmed it’s coming to PS5, Xbox, and PC. Monster Hunter Wilds is the follow-up to Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter: Rise. If you’re interested in playing Monster Hunter Wilds, and you’ve never played a Monster Hunter game before, I recommend playing World, Iceborne (the excellent World expansion), and Rise. They are great games with hours of fun to be had.

On the Monster Hunter Wilds official website, Capcom has also revealed that players can receive save data bonuses in Monster Hunter Wilds from Monster Hunter World and Iceborne.

There has been no release date confirmed by Capcom as of yet, but the game is set to release sometime in 2025.
